Rajan Paul Dang, MD is a board-certified otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon. A Huntsville native, Dr. Rajan Dang completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, where he graduated magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa Honors. He then attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, graduating at the top of his class in 2016 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
He then completed his residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the highly prestigious Washington University in Saint Louis in 2021 and was awarded the excellence in teaching award by his fellow co-residents.
After graduating residency, Dr. Dang remained in academic medicine at Washington University. During his academic career, he was a prolific clinician, surgeon, and teacher of residents. He also has given several lectures to ENT residents, as well as to residents from other departments. For instance, he taught a cadaveric dissection course to neurosurgery residents demonstrating sinonasal anatomy for skull base surgery.
Dr. Rajan Dang has numerous publications within the field of otolaryngology. He has authored 14 publications on subjects ranging from prevalence of wrong-site surgery to reconstruction methods for advanced head and neck cancer. He has also presented his research around the country at various conferences and meetings.
His clinic interests include thyroid and parathyroid disease, nasal and sinus disorders, salivary gland pathology including parotid and submandibular gland masses, voice and airway disorders, dizziness, and hearing loss.
In his free time, Dr. Rajan Dang enjoys golfing, working out, and taking long walks with his wife and their dogs Milo and Charlie. He is also an avid reader and traveler.
Dr. Dang sees pediatric and adult patients in both Huntsville and Madison. He looks forward to providing you and your family with the best possible care.
