Tonsils and Adenoids
A tonsillectomy may be indicated when the patient
presents with:
- Peritonsillar abscess
- Loud snoring and Sleep apnea (stop breathing while asleep due to enlarged tonsils or adenoids)
- Difficulty eating or swallowing due to enlarged tonsils. Stunted growth.
